Event details: When: Wednesday 28 February 2024. Beginning at 5pm (talk to begin at 5:30pm for one hour, followed by drinks and canapes until 8pm)
The event will be opened by HSBC’s Chief Legal Officer, Bob Hoyt, before moving on to hear from the Founder of Black Counsel Forum, Sharon Thomas, followed by a talk delivered by HSBC UK economist, Liz Martins.
HSBC’s Group Legal function is a proud sponsor of the Black Counsel Forum. Sharon will be sharing insights into the ways in which the legal profession can work collaboratively to overcome challenges faced by lawyers of Black Heritage in the UK, recognising the importance of understanding the broader economic climate in which we are operating. Liz Martins will then share insights into developments in the UK economy including interest rates, budget and the election. This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to engage with HSBC’s Group Legal function, representatives from our global panel law firms and members of the Black Counsel Forum community.
